A cry for help from Tauranga's struggling Foodbank,  motivated Devan Plastics General Manager Dave Burnett to donate $1500 to help those less fortunate this season. Usually this money was spent on client gifts but Dave felt that this gift would have more meaning to his clients and more meaning to his team.  He then challenged other Tauranga businesses to follow suit.

TechnologyWise and vmarketing have taken this challenge one step further and set up www.feedthebank.org.nz to allow businesses to pledge their support by way of food or monetary donation.
